Krystal Douglas’ number one priority is providing for her children. A single mother of five children ranging in age from 4 to 21, Krystal wants nothing more than to provide her children with a safe, comfortable, and affordable place to grow and play. Currently, the Douglas family lives in a small, rundown 3-bedroom apartment with very little room. Ty’Kira, Krystal’s youngest daughter, suffers from severe asthma, which doctors believe is caused by the carpet in their current apartment. Krystal generally has to bring her to the emergency room at least three times per year because of her condition.
